As the situation progresses with the Covid-19 outbreak so must we adapt to the situation in which we find ourselves. We had hoped to carry on in relative normality with business but it has become clear that the change in our way of lives is clearly going to affect our day to day running of Heather & Lay.

We are here to sell houses but the safety of our members of staff, sellers and buyers is the absolute priority and it is because of this that we have had to make the difficult business decision to not conduct any further 'out appointments'.

We are therefore not able to provide our community with any viewings or valuations of properties and our Falmouth office will be closed until further notice - this is of course a position that we will be monitoring very carefully as the situation progresses.

 

 

FROM OUR LETTINGS OFFICE IN PENRYN 

In order to adhere to the current government guidelines our office is now closed, and all staff are working remotely.

Unfortunately, we are unable to set up a divert on our phone system due to a technical issue and engineers are now unable to conduct a visit. With this in mind, we please ask you to send any queries or questions you may have to lettings@heather-lay.co.uk. Of course, you can still email your property manager direct if you wish. Please be assured that emails will be dealt with during office hours and all staff are available to talk to but they will need to call you back as required.

Please do not leave an answer phone message as we are unable to pick these up remotely.

Please also be reminded that we cannot accept any maintenance by phone or email, all maintenance must be reported via FixFlo at www.heatherlay.fixflo.com. If urgent, this will direct you to our out of hours emergency phone number. Please be reminded that we cannot currently instruct contractors for any ‘non-essential’ maintenance and we will only be handling urgent matters at this time. We understand at these difficult times tenants and landlords will have concerns, please be assured that we are here to support you and we thank you for your cooperation. Please protect our NHS, stay home, and stay safe.

FROM OUR RESIDENTIAL SALES OFFICE

All of our staff will be working remotely from home - you are still able to email or call us as you normally would if you would like to discuss anything.

If you have your property 'For Sale' with us currently we will do our utmost to deal with any enquiry in as fine detail as possible and will encourage the person to stay in contact so that they can view in the future. If your property is currently 'Sale Agreed' with us we will be ensuring that our high standard of sales co-ordination does not drop and we will continue to speak to all parties regularly and inform of any updates. Whilst these unfortunate circumstances are beyond our control, I do apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your kindness and understanding. Please stay safe and we look forward to speaking with you in the near future.

Heather & Lay Estate Agents is located in the heart of Falmouth town centre.

As you approach Falmouth on the main A39, at the Sainsbury’s / McDonalds roundabout take the left turning into North Parade passing Falmouth Marina and The Greenbank Hotel on your left hand side.

Continue under the archway and down the High Street, after The Princes of Wales Pier, bear left into Market Street.

If you are driving you can turn left at The Grapes Public House down into the shopper’s car park or if travelling by foot our office is on the right hand side as you continue into Church Street.

Our roadside office is by the traffic lights at Penryn bridge on the B3292 opposite the Exchequer Quay car park and Jubilee Wharf is across the road (the one with its own wind turbines).

From the traffic lights drive up Quay Hill (signposted town centre) and turn left into the Anchor Quay development about 50 yds later.

Follow the access road down to the left and there is ample free customer parking outside our offices – simply register your car details in reception.

Alternatively there is a bus stop on Penryn bridge itself 30 yards from our offices.
